If you can travel to Lewisville, they have a barge going east on 407 where you can get some good sand bass and crappie action at night starting at 7pm or early in the morning around 6am... $7 entry fee, but worth it... Just bring crappie jigs... Bobby Garland and jig heads to be exact... Ive even seen minnows work in the morning. No turtle issues there.

Ive never had a problem with turtles. Only when I purposely try to catch them. Just toss a pebble at them and they should swim off

Dunno what a turtle man is but sounds weird lol... I tried hot dog ... And dunno where Lewis ville is but I'll def try it.

Actually, I enjoy catching turtles when I'm fishing with my nephew...if I get one on, I let him reel it in, and he thinks he's caught a "sea monster". Of course, he wants to keep every one we catch...lol.

try throwing a bunch of old meat out to bait the turtles to a section you arent fishing. Then fish away from that baited mess and try fishing with sweet corn

I have a TON of turtles in my pond.  They are free for the taking if anyone wants turtle stew. :P
