I have an abu garcia 6000 with foot number 89-0 90-91. The line guide is hung on this reel. I cant find a parts diagram anywhere. Any tips on where to find one would be appreciated. I even looked on the abu garcia web site and nothing. Also, in my search for parts that parts number falls under a "Lifetime Warranty". I find it hard to believe that Abu Garcia will warranty something made over 20 yrs ago. Has anyone ever tried to claim one of these warranties? Thanks again for the info.

Yes as far as the warranty. Call them and give them the information.

I stock the worms and the gears. They are the same as the 6500's and the 6000's all the way back to the late 60's. You will need a worm gear ($8.99) or a Pawl ($3.69)or both. If you have an Academy close check and see if they might have some or call Southwestern and just tell them you need the parts for a 6000 and they will know what you need.
