Thanks for the kind words guys. I just don't like to see folks not having a good day out there so if I can help them get on a few fish to make their trip better then I try and do what I can. After all that's what it's all about. Especially if there is a kid in the boat. I'd rather see one kid catch a fish than write ten tickets.

I can remember several years ago in either March or April Me and my partner were fishing a little club tournament on Cypress Springs and we were fishing a little point with hydrilla on it with wacky-worms and we were doing fairly well. Heath pulled up and checked us and shot the breeze with us for quite some time which was fine but he never shut his big motor off the entire time so I was kind of concerned about that and possibly spooking the fish we were on. We had a good conversation with him and he took off and my partner made his 1st cast as Heath pulled off and caught one a little under 7lbs. LOL. He's a good guy and sometimes good luck.

Awesome. I could have used some pointers today. But I enjoyed my day on the water.

Never met Mr Taylor but sounds like a really stand up guy. A real credit to his profession. I have been checked by a lot of game wardens on a lot of different lakes in TX and must say that all of them were very professional and courteous. They did their job with minimal disruption to my fishing and they took extra precautions to make sure their boat was not bumping into mine.

Good job Heath. The kids are our future and the future of fishing and hunting. Teach a kid to fish and hunt and you keep them out of trouble.
