Lots of scenic lakes in Texas, but my personal favorite would have to be Caddo Lake....and I'll be there next weekend.

caddo but I've never been to lakes in TX outside of north TX I have been to many of the lakes in Texas. My vote would still be Caddo without a doubt or second thought. To wholmes: Thanks for the plug on Greers Ferry Lake. I grew up on that lake, and it is very beautiful. But Caddo really something special.
