First saw this tip about the wind when I was a little boy in a fishing magazine in the barber shop. My dad took me to tawakoni one morning and i found an accessible part of grassy bank and threw a crank bait into the huge waves into a 30 knot wind. I couldn't have been more than 6 years old. To my surprise on the first cast I reeled in a huge crappie...my first.
