 He contradicted himself.In the split second that a crankbait passes by a bass, I personally don't believe he has time to think "hmmmm, I'm going to destroy that crank because it's baby bass colored, and I'm going to let that shad color swim on by".
It's more about a reaction strike that color. Once you find them and they are bitting the crank the exact color doesn't matter much IMO. Bright colors in stained water and natural colors in clear water.  yeah
