I get the year to date lic. It costs $7 more than the seasonal lic, I think they call it.

If you buy it early in the month for the year-to-date, it will expire at the end of that month.

I don't post here much and don't want to speak out of place, but I think that posting in a fishing forum and asking how to get away with breaking fishing laws is probably bad form.

@Tex.....I can fish any State Park on the coast for a daily fee and no license is required. I can fish Sea Rim State Park near the Sabine for only $3 a day as long as I follow their Alligator Etiquette Rules. lol

Thank you all for the infos. YES!!! I bought a salt water license to fish from the coast line. I had a blast weekend out there in Galveston. Sorry I didn't mean to stir up issues. It was just a question. Thanks again. Yes, I love fishing!
