The park employe was quick to say that he has heard of no plans to reopen the dock anytime soon.  Hummmm?.....Kind of leaves one to wonder.....Fishing pier was free access, but now park employee appears to be pleased it will be a long while before it's reopened and folks have to use the fee park or nothing.....I guess I need to put away my tinfoil hat! LOL! Medina should be killer!

Great report guys and thanks for sharing.  Canyon Lake can be a difficult lake to fish especially from the bank.  Looks like you found some nice fish. Side Note: I would have gotten a Blizzard at the DQ!

Canyon can be very difficult especially from the bank.  Me and Mike have some places picked out that usually pay off during certain times of the year. Side Note: I also love those Blizzards!

Thanks "Featherduster" for the reply. Rios are pretty scarce north of Austin.  The Blanco River in San Marcos has quite a few of em there.  Also the local creeks in the San Antonio area are loaded with em and they are getting pretty active.

Man great jobs guys, those are some good looking fish. Feels like forever since I've caught a bluegill, been busy and on a bit of a saltwater kick lately. Looks like I might have to try and head to Conroe this weekend! Again WTG guys
