Whacked em this weekend early morning on a double bladed buzzbait.

My partner had on a spook walking the dog and ended up switching.

This is pretty much how I feel about clackers. You don't know what they want until you throw it. If they don't like one then try the other.

I am more apt to throw clackers in stained to muddy water. Just makes sense to me. But I will try anything if they are not biting.

No clacker. I want the blade to turn as free as it can for a slow retrieve.

I have caught more fish on a booyah 1/2 white or white and chartreuse with a clacker than any other buzzbait...tournament this weekend was a perfect example, caught 8 fish in less than 20 minutes on the clacker, broke off, tied on another type of buzzbait same color, no clacker and didnt get another strike....

Clacker only in heavy chop.
1/2 oz no clacker in moderate chop.
1/4 oz no clacker in light winds.

Chartruese / white lunker lure all the time. Except low light - black.

(of course, it's fishing, this is only a guide)

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.
