After you plant the bamboo, plant a little Kudzu around it.

nothing wrong with those tall bamboo if you maintain it. make a post in the crappie section once a year for FREE BAMBOO - CUT YOUR OWN. people will show up left and right to chop whatever you want down and haul it off to make crappie condo's. i did this for several years - never had any problems and met some nice folks.
