Whats up everyone ? I am trying to get started getting gear for the trip but im a newbie to salt water gear and im not sure what to get ( rod and reel , Lures , Hooks , weights ) Can anyone here point me in the right direction . Thanks in advance .

Fish Eater, i agree with Bazz and you can also do a search on Deep water tackle on this forum and you should bring up some peoples suggestions... happy reading ^_^

Hi. I am thinking about joining this trip, but first a few questions:
Will anyone bring kerosene falsely labeled as tequela for the margaritas?
Is there anyone on this trip who will consistantly haul those nasty, smelly barracudas onto the boat?
Can we wear nice button-down shirts with the sleeves ripped off?
If we spend all Friday night scamming at the local bar, can we bring skanks on the boat? If so, is there a weight limit?

Thanks. i thought those were mandatory requirements to be on this trip !from what I've witnessed on other trips NO WEIGHT LIMIT !!!
