Heck of a good crowd for sure - even despite the weather. I would've stayed there all day, but got texted away to cull some fish from a pond in Krum. Plus I got a good tip from Shaun that sent me running for the car.

What a great time that was yesterday! Man it was a busy day. Anyone looking at getting into kayaking or getting into that new yak before summer hits that didnt make it to this really missed out! Got the chance to talk to lots of good people and hope I was still making since at the end of the day!

What a great time that was yesterday! Man it was a busy day. Anyone looking at getting into kayaking or getting into that new yak before summer hits that didnt make it to this really missed out! Got the chance to talk to lots of good people and hope I was still making since at the end of the day! Joe Sorry I missed you at the show yesterday. But I did get the chance to check out your pimped out cooler up close. Looks as good in person as it did in the pics. I took some more pics to help out as I start pirating your ideas. The wife liked it too so I may be building 2 of them. Just got to find something to use as the spacers for attaching the rod holders. Thanks for bringing it.
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever.  I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

We had a great time meeting everyone and getting them out for a test ride. Thanks to everyone who came out and the folks who put on the event. This is one we will mark our calendar and be sure we're there every year.

Hi, I heard there was a conversation about the show. It was great, the Volunteers from the local clubs, DFW Paddlers and DFW Kayakers made the day possible. We had four main vendors, next year we hope for more. As you see from the pictures we were very busy, next year we will take up twice as much beach, have more demos, have food vendors there. We will be setting a date soon for next year. Anyone interested in getting on the vendor list for next year can Contact Steve Walls at: Discover Kayak, www.discoverkayak.com or seakaayksteve@yahoo.com For you pro's, I'm one of the few ACA instructors that can certify guides on salt. I'm a lifelong fisherman, Level 4 open water instructor
