Hey Dave, why don't you put some of that white wash on my fence.

Facts: boat ran, Dennis did work, boat did not run, Mike at Discount Marine did work, boat runs again...sham-wow!

I've already chalked it up to a loss and lesson learned, just reported the facts here which is what this forum is for.

No Bruce, THE facts. Here is the receipt from Discount Marine in Arlington; if you are anywhere near Arlington I suggest using Mike at Discount, great guy.

Also; despite me taking the boat cover to him he didn't cover the boat in that last storm (with all tornados). Completely soaked every bit of deck, will probably end up having to replace some of it.
Asked Dennis for a $100 refund as that is what the new mechanic is charging to go through the motor ($90 actually), still haven't seen that money. The place he works from is a house and the backyard stinks to high heaven and is a mess. Just stating the facts here.

Just curious, but I'm wondering why you didn't take it back to boatwhisperer when it didn't start? You already paid him evidently. Doesn't look like it matters now, but it just seems like alot of aggravation that could have been avoided.

Agreed! I bought a pair of rods from him and he went above and beyond. I would buy again without hesitation. Buy with confidence.

I wish one of you guys would give up. I subscribe to this thread to hear about good and bad trades. You guys have been debating this for weeks. How many times do you beat a dead horse?

Just become a member and my first purchase was super... Bought a Dash Panel for my Cobra for ron-ron... Can't nothing but good things about the transaction... fair price, shipped as promised, packed well & provided tracking information. Would definitely buy again from him.
