Anyone hear it or know what it was from .......... it was loud and I coundnt see any smoke any.where .... anyway just a wondering

We were on the lake and heard it also. It was around 7:30 in the evening

Yea was gonna ask the same question. We heard 2 booms. 1 sounded like it came from around mustang and the other from opposite side of the lake.

one was absolutely in mustang, we were fishing off the dock in Popes at the time.. SHOOK us.. it was rather loud. Saw no flame, just a large plume of smoke.. heard the second, but did not see anything... it was nuts.
sheriff drove through shortly thereafter and said he got a call of a potato gun.. that was no potato gun.

We heard one in the afternoon while we were in Glade- Also heard several fully automatic weapons fire. I assume there may be a range nearby. We assumed they were shooting a cannon. Lots of different gun fire heard a number of times before the "boom".
Lake Fork Sportsmans Club maybe????
