With the Commander I can pretty much bring everything... I actually believe that boat tracks and paddles better with the kitchen sink in the back of it. So I've got everything, it's just not organized so sometimes it's hard to find... It's on my to do list to start a whole new tackle management system... Just need to get the right storage bags/boxes to git ur done...
After fishing on a slow day, I'll often realize that I never tried a certain lure or presentation that has in fact worked great for me in the past in those conditions... I try to make a mental checklist of these lures/presentations, but sometimes I forget.... Really should write it down so that if I do have a crappy day, at least I ran the gamut of my bag of tricks... At Fork last weekend there's one lure that I just didn't throw at all, but when I went to Mill Creek the 3-5 pounders were all over it... Not saying it wouldve worked at fork, but it certainly has at this time of year in the past...

I usually fish alone so I am pretty good about keeping my gear together and ready to go. But when my son or wife join in that's when I should make a check list. I always say I am gonna do it but never do. It would probably make things less stressful when I am loading all their [censored] on the truck.

 Real men dont make list or ask for directions either... the only thing i like to forget on a regular basis is.. my life jacket & paddle  i voice recorded the last minute things that i needed the other night on my droid. worked well.  got half way down the street and had to turn around for my wallet and phone

I bring the kitchen sink and by the end of the day I'm fishing with one thing. Crazy! Luckily, that PA will hold 3 or 4 kitchen sinks!
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever.  I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

I'm old and forgetful and have learned to start writing things down instead of relying on my memory. It seems like every time I get on the water I left something behind that I REALLY need. Do y'all ever use a list to go over what you need to bring along?
I always use a list if I am going.  We also have lists for family trips, vacations, business trips etc.  BigDozer66

I'd like to suggest a great app to help with lists! It's called EverNote and it is a cross platform application for note storage and sync in the cloud. This means that you can install it on every PC that you use and your cell and you can create and edit notes from any location and they sync up! So, you can hammer on your list from the office and when you get home in the afternoon to load up your gear, you pull out your trusty smartphone and bam, there's your note ready to go. There are browser plug-ins for IE/Firefox/Chrome that let you snip parts of websites and paste them into your notes, images included and that's handy for compiling a "trip note" with a map, conformation/reservation numbers, and maybe an itinerary. The service is free with a generous monthly cap on note creation (based on data size, not number of notes) and there's no way a normal person would over run the limit with text only notes in a month. Win/Mac/Linux iOS/Android comparable. That sounds like a great App! I am downloading it now to give it try.  BigDozer66

Hey I can't afford a toupee that's why I keep my head shaved...  @LuvPondFishing- I never FORGET anything. If I happened to not bring something, it meant I didn't need it...i.e I didn't need my paddle that day
