For the start of the 2012-13 catfish season, I am going to try to plan a proper schedule of events so anyone who wants to participate can plan ahead. I intend also to get in to some other lakes. Keep an eye on the forum and the "Schedule" tab on the Texas 287 website for updates.

Hole in the boat story please!!!

Drawout can be more help on that. By the time we got back in, he was already gone. Not sure what happened there, whether it was a stump or what. I know we bumped around in Steve's boat a few times, so I know there were some trees that were hiding just under the surface in a lot of places.

Boat is sunk guys only thing sticking out of the water is the very bottom of the hull.We are going out tomorrow in hopes of getting it flipped back over and back on the trailer.Me and my dad are alive but it was a extremely close call.We were in the water for over an hour waiting for fire and rescue.I wwill give a full story when I have more time, i suspect a broke livewell line is what caused the leak unless we hit something very sharp that we didnt notice.For the record we had around 30 pounds with our 5 fish when we went down I hope I can atleast get my boat back on the trailer tomorrow even after losing all our gear .Very close call !
