I would be the brother hahaha! yeah my brother is very much into the conservation of alligator gar because of how hard they are to find and how long it takes for them to turn into giants. he only fishes catch and release for them... you can actually send David a message from the blog site if you were serious into gar fishing, he knows a number of places where you can still catch good sized fish in TX.

Oh very serious, I've landed a 5 ft and had bigger to the bank, wasn't prepared for the fight, I'm looking to land a good one this year. Headed to the trinity may 11th to give it a shot. The trip looked awesome by the way!!!
