Im running an '85 model evinrude and have yet to ever mix stabil anything in the gas. It sat for 6mo with nothing but ethanol mix gas and the correct 50:1 mixed oil in the gas, Fired on the first crank and ran fine till the tank was dry. I agree with stump, people go overboard on the additives. I also dont think the ethanol fuel will draw moisture out of the air and all like folks say. Ours sat 6 mo with the vent open and there is no fuel water separator on the boat, never has and never had a problem. I think alot of the water in fuel problems come from boats being stored outside, leaking built in tanks, and buying gas with water already in it. JMHO

I run the correct oil mix and every once in a while sea foam as directed on the can.

It will not hurt anything but your pocket. The folks that make all of these additives love all of these people that think they are necessary. Now and then a good fuel injector cleaner or a product like Seafoam is good but all the time and you are just making the CEOs and shareholders happy.
