Great screenshots. I'd like to see more. I'm still learning to interpet my 597 Di. It seems like every time out some strange something shows up that I can't identify.

I wouldn't have identified the sand bass on bottom in the first pix if I did not see them on DI.

I know its not Tawakoni, but I took these screenshots on Belton yesterday morning.

In the pic below you can see the Hybrids and whites stacked up feeding. At one point we had 4 fish on! On 4 different rods!
If you look close you can see the different sive fish.. Hybrids vs Whites.

One quick question. In the first set of screen shots you posted in the down scan pic. The cloud that shows in the middle of the water column, what is that? Bait fish or turbulance from the boat? I see it often on my unit, especially in down scan mode and never know what to make of it.

That cloud that almost looks like spagetti strings is usually shad runnung for their lives. You have activily feeding fish and it is time to fish.

Tawakoni is definitley a great lake to learn electronics on. Anyone wanting to see the difference between catfish, crappie, sandbass on hybrids on sidescan give me a holler. thumb
