Back then, probably BPS rods. Now, Falcons.

Only own one orange rod... Bill Dee gave it to me in college. I still keep it on the boat.

Allstars (based on Jimmy Smith's (Smitty's) recommendation) when they were still open in Oak Cliff. Also had a few castaways. Still use all of them to this day.

BPS graphite series when I was a little guy. Falcons when I started making my own money. I can do without the rainbow show on the deck.

Almost all the rods were either gray or green.. the greens were different shades, but still green. I had one eagle claw glass rod that would be considered yellow, but with just a little sunlight it was a dull yellow.

Even though I don't own an orange, yellow or white fishing rod (I do have some yellow fly rods), I like that rod companies are being more creative.

I have had a bunch of different ones but broke my second orange one in the past 3 weeks on Sunday, both were 2 weeks old won't have another one.
