No offense to anyone but my 14.95 Walmart polarized glasses work just as well. I've had the expensive ones an me personally I can't tell the difference. The cheap one worked well for me at the creek and the lake.

What you SEE and what penetrates your eyes are vastly different arguments. Cheap Walmart types might help cut glare, but "high dollar" lenses have a [censored] ton (actual measurement) of engineering in them designed to keep certain aspects of light and radiation away from your eyes.

Having own many pairs of sunglasses over the years, polarized brown lens is the best IMO. ^This^ Some producers call it "copper" color. Copper and AMber are different colors- yellow allowance is key differentiator

The heat around you gives you discomfort and the heat waves hurt your skin, specially the soft and sensitive skin around your eyes. The new arrival sunglasses will help you to avoid that sense of the heat and discomfort. You will feel comfort to use the famous brands of sunglasses on your eyes as they are specially created to protect your sensitive orbital area and the eyes which reflects the shine of the heat without a pair of glasses covering them.

I've been using this brand for years, I was amazed when I 1st tried them. I use backwater green, it's designed for inshore flats style fishing. But even in deep water they worked extremely well. Customer service by this co is spot on. After 7-10 years of owning them I broke a lens, I gave 150 for the og pair. To replace that lens it was 75 bucks, but since my og frames were nla they let me have any pair I wanted. When the new ones arrived, they had a weird twist in frame, sat a bit cockeyed. Called them up and explained the issue, and told them that I didn't like the frame and they had no issues with me changing my mind on the frames. So I've got 225 invested in them, worth every cent imo.
Here in TX, fishing creeks primarily either off the bank or in my yak, thus far the water seems pretty murky the 10-12 times I've been out and where I read about people sight fishing, I've been yet to see more then a few feet down on a good day.
Nonetheless, these and I'm confident the more highend brands are all similar in the fact they're an absolute pleasure to see through. Takes the glare off, brightens colors, great to drive in, etc...

I agree with most of the posts here, so I will say this; There are polarized sunglasses and then there is Costa Del Mar! I say get the mentioned pair for $50 as that is a steal and with a lifetime warranty!

Here's a big tip. Just as you should buy multicoated filters for your camera,, you want want multicoated lenses on your sunglasses. If light hits noncoated lenses you can see almost nothing. Gil@arlingtoncamera.com
