I found out yesterday that the academy square bill is a pretty good bait. I had it and a kvd 1.5 tied on and the h2o out performed. Caught 7 on h2o and 0 on the kvd. This tought me that quality does not always come in the form of higher prices.. im not at all saying that the strike king is a bad product just that you don't always have to spend more too do good.

I have a lot of the H20 baits and I've caught fish on all of them. I bought some of the square bills the other day. Can't wait to try them out.
I have a Largemouth at home....sometimes she lets me go fishing.

The H2O express crankbait that is the CRS+ model has caught me lots of fish in the last two years and won me a few $K.

Ive never bought another crank. Well I got some dd normans but
Ive seen h20s dd catch more than normans at squaw.
Years back at fairfield thats all those fish wanted.
Used to smoke em on diamond dust....

Not arguing your revelation, But it is very hard to determine that one bait is better or worse than another like bait in a single outing.
What if you'd thrown the Strike King bait on the exact cast instead if the H2O bait?
Maybe on the day you fished, the H2O bait had the wiggle and sound that triggered the strike, but the next day the fish were reluctant on that bait and the Strike King had enough different wobble or sound that would trigger the strike?
Makes one think doesn't it.?

on fork this Saturday and got zero bites on the H2O, and my partner had 6 bites on the KVD, same color. But i usually catch a lot of fish on the H2O. so I think it is just the fish that decide along with your confidence in using it.

I bought a few H2O baitsa while back and had 2 that turned over on their side right out of the package. Haven't thrown them since.

Were they both silent models? Similar colors? Cast to the same spots? Equal number of casts?

My love for h20 xpress cranks starte2 years ago. It has caught me some good fish, tournament fish not to mention a 5 pounder on the trinity. They get the job done
