This is made from 1/2inch pvc with a piece of diamond plate zip tied to the top. I have a mini 12volt battery underneath to power the fishfinder. I've got plans to add a rod holder, and measuring tape.

This is for the transducer. 3/4inch pvc, notched at the bottom, and drilled to hold the transducer. Simply hangs over the front.
(Pic has it mounted on the rear because the boat was loaded front first)

I tried it out this past weekend, and it worked great.

Hey can I have the "Blue Prints" to the transducer mount

Measure the width of your boat. I have an extra that is to wide for mine at 27". If this would fit you you can have it and save the $40 at Academy or BPS.

I have a contact that is selling a 8'5" all fiberglass Tullcraft pontoon with all of the goodies and a trailer if anyone is interested. It is listed on Craigslist if you want to see pics and get the price. It is SWEET!

Anyone ever get a crack in your boat, I have experience fixing them now. My son's boat got damaged in a storm, I ordered the kit from Basshunter for $14 and it fixed it right up. I took pictures if anyone is interested.

RGR76, did you read the beginning of this thread?

I can build you a custom dolly if you want that will work better than any you can buy, a heck of alot better than the one basshunter sells. You will be able to load all your stuff, battery, tm, seats and gear in the boat and still be able to hold up the front with your little finger.

I agree with FFM. I have one that I bought from Basshunter and it works OK, but the ones the FFM builds with the bigger wheels works much better.

I drilled holes at the end of each crack to stop its progression, then its just a matter of cleaning good and following the instructions. The kit comes with a bottle of liquid abs plastic and a piece of fiberglass mat that is 2"x18". I cut the fiberglass to fit the size of the crack, then you coat one side of the mat with the liquid abs and place it on the boat, it doesn't take much. I learned the hard way... After smoothing that down and working all the liquid thru the mat, you just keep adding thin layers of the plastic over the top of the matting until it is completely covered. Takes 48 hours to cure completely and it is extremely sturdy now. Kit was $14.00 and shipping was $9.00.
