Wednesday----The one that got away. It was tough again today but the catching was steady. This morning we put in on the Sabine River Authority property on the west end of the 154 bridge and we fished north from there. LOTS of bed fish along the bank. We caught maybe 7 fish total before lunch at the BBQ joint across the road from the launch (do not recommend)
After lunch we put in close to White Oak and fished there the rest of the afternoon. When the clouds rolled in for a few hours, the fishing was ON! I had one on that was easily 8. She wrapped me up once and I got it off and had her coming back to the boat when she wrapped around another stob. She jumped three times so that I could see her and then my line snapped. SUCKED. I caught about 8 more until the sun came back out and then it shut down.
White Oak looked really good and was a fairly easy paddle from the bridge. We're gonna hit Big Caney tomorrow again. Best spot so far.

Thanks for the report, planned on going out Friday but that is not going to happen, looks no pre fishing for me at this tournament. Will have to rely on reports and topo maps.
