Should the back rollers be totally submerged too? When I submerge them it seems like they don't do their job of self aligning. When they are just barely out of the water, my boat doesn't go up high enough to winch.

Also, how come when I try to gas the boat on the bunks, it goes no where lol. I have the 190TX with 90HP Optimax.

Your not getting the trailer quite deep enough, the back rollers should be submerged. Even with a 90 hp, you can drive up to the front roller. On almost every trailer I have seen the fender covers are submerged or near submerged. If you have the front aligned and pull out slow the back will self align, Most of the time anyway

All I can say is practice, practice and then practice some more.

I have a 16ft express with a 50hp that is much harder to load than my skeeter! I would have to winch it almost every time. If I got the trailer to deep it wouldn't align right, if too shallow I couldn't get it far enough on the trailer. After a few months I finally found the sweet spot, (fender wells about 3 in out of the water) but even then on certain ramps or windy days I would have to adjust!

Be sure and Back your Bunks all the way into the water to get them wet and then pull forward untill you get your trailer at the proper depth. IT will load quite a bit easier.

As long as your young, it's no big deal. As you get older your back will tell you it's a bad thing.

Just practice and you'll have it down in no time. Different ramp angles will make loading different every time.

it helps that your tow rig and your trailer are level, meaning on flat ground looking at boat and trailer the boat is level, if not you need to change your drop hitch to correct it. If your pretty level then its just like everyone else has said, find the sweet spot and run it up, good luck

You will save a lot of wear on your winch and yourself if you find the sweet spot where you can drive the boat all the way on to the trailer.

The Easy Step System is great for what your talking about. It's what ever person needs when trying to exit their boat that's on the trailer.

WaterLogged you saved me! It worked exactly as you suggested. I'm now 3/3 on my last three outings and no second attempts at loading! I really appreciate your advice. The brotherhood that is TFF just saved me a lot of frustration and embarrassment at the launch ramp, as well saved me a good 50 bucks on an item I dis not need to buy. Thanks All!

I have the same boat as you, i can launch and D launch in a matter of seconds.

When your loading the boat back your trailer way in and get the running boards (Carpet) completely soaked. then pull up and just leave a small bit of your back Vertical rollers showing. When you slide into the groove just punch it one time and your boat will slide all the way up to the rubber and you can lay over and hook it up. Be careful of that trolling motor pedal and dont cut your cheel off.
