Big Bass'n - I did use that stuff in one on my 14ft jonny i had a few years back, it worked real good. It kept from gear and seats from sliding and such. I plan to do it to my buster where the seats sits cause i have a rigged seat (not a factory seat )and it tends to slide a bit, but i fish in it by myslef and mostly stand while fishing so it hasnt been a big deal as of yet.

I have a seat base that didn't fit my pond prowler that you are welcome to have. It is 27" wide so I'm not sure if it will fit your rig but can certainly be bent to fit since it won't really be load bearing.

Thanks for the feedback on the outboard guys. I understand what you mean about hauling around a bigger motor. I passed on the 7.5 and picked up a Johnson 6 hp and an old Evinrude 3hp. Gonna try out each and decide what to keep!

If I was local to your area, I would totally take you up on that offer! But Im near lubbock, and i think buying pvc would be cheaper than shipping. But I appreciate the offer !

I never have. Not sure if it was in this thread or another one but a few guys said they did and that it peeled off pretty quick. They were doing the bottom of the boat to protect it.

Hi I live in Lewisville, and I think that will fit my boat.
If the frame is still available I will take it...

well I finally fabricated a mount for my fishfinder on the bassraider.
I started with the idea of making something out of pvc that would slide in the seat tracks and came up with this

then my dad gave me the idea of a mounting plate, attached the seat, so it would swivel with me. we found a scrap piece of metal, and came up with this

the seat already had the holes for the screws, I just drilled the holes in the metal.
what do ya think?

I was thinking about that very thing as I have developed one myself. Maybe tha spray sealant? It looks like it is sturdy and flexible as well. I also saw some liquid PVC that looked like it would do a good job too.

So what's up with this tournament?
