What kind of retrieve do you guy's & gal's like best when dock shooting? What has worked for me the best is, shoot the jig as far back as you can get it, let it fall to the bottom while watching the line for a twitch, if no bite on the fall, then basically drag it along the bottom working it back to the boat. Most of my bites are when I first start to move the jig after it hits the bottom or within a couple of feet after I start moving it. How do y'all do it?

I prefer to twitch it a foot or so off the bottom, and then let it fall...repeat repeat repeat.

I do drag the bait sometimes as well, but mostly it is the above.

For me it just depends on where they are in the water column. Sometimes I click it over immediately and just let it pendulum down then twitch up and pendulum it down again. I also will retrieve it like Duck Jerky said as well
