Dude, fish fork before you reply on a post to help a guy out, there are alot of fish already spawned out in about 5-10 foot of water.

^ one reason I barely help on here lol! Internet pro's are always trying to blast ppl. Don't take my advice because someone that doesn't know me "knows" I don't fish fork!

I don't really see how you could help a guy out by saying there are no post spawn fish...... or " definitely not post spawn"

Did I miss something

the best thing about this time of year is that you can do what you like and get bit. i think we are still a little bit away from the killer deep bite but there should be fish in the shallow creeks close to the spawning grounds, try a jig or tx-rig creature bait for these, there will be plenty on the shallow flats that i would target with spinnerbaits weightless plastics and tx-rig creature's, and there will be some deep fish on humps and roadbeds that i would try to throw a crankbait or shakey head at.there have been fish on beds since late february and i personally believe this will be the last major wave on this moon with spawning being completely finished before the end of april. just my observation as a guy who has been on lake fork at least one day a week since the first week of feb. except for last weekend, i wasn't messing with that crowd. good luck.

We caught about 30 to 35 nice slots during the Mega Bass on a white swim jig and a white texas riged craw.
We were fishing up coffee creek just before you get to the bridge, their is a green horse pasture in the back of the cove to the right. The fish started moving up in waves at about 9:30 that morning. A lot of lay downs around the bank. Just throw and reel.

Yes you can see beds even with the rain. Mid lake areas will stay clearer then the ends of both arms.

There's fish that are post spawn but there is a ton of cruisers shallow that haven't even locked on yet, weightless soft plastics, wacky worms, wake baits, frogs etc..

Or hire the "guy" that just won a truck and a boat. he might have the credentials listed above.

not an expert but... We just spend 5 days on Fork. fish were in 1-10 feet, pre, spawn and post spawn. Fished around the golf course area. Spoke to Cameron and he gave me advice on 2 new for me areas and we caught fish. We caught fish every day. I fished a watermellon fluke.
