How about a water report? What is the clarity and depth?

Clarity is maybe 2". Extremely muddy/murky. Not real sure on depth because it varies from about 1ft all the way down to about 12 i think is what we found out from kayaking it in years past.

Also wanted to add to get there as early as possible or you might have to park pretty far away. There is limited parking in this area and lots of tow away zones so be cautious of where you park.

Looks like they stopped, or at least drastically slowed the release from Benbrook. The streamflow is way down. It'll still be muddy, but should be fishable.

I wish you guys fished closer to Paris. It sounds like fun.

Well this one is in the record books. Congrats Chris. Good fish guys. Shout out to the two 14 yr. old buddies who fished hard for whole time. That's what I like about the bass grabbers model. I wish I had that gumption at that their age. I would be better angler today. See you guys next tourney.

Bob9, we had 2 people come from Pasis for this event, also we are starting a eastern series in 2 weeks with the first event at Bethany Lakes in Allen. Date is 4/14 from 8 - 12.

Congrats Chris! I caught a big one so at least I got myself on the board finally for this year! It was good seeing those kids out there fishing hard too!

I enjoy watching the kids make friends and fishing as hardcore as the older guys. Good times. IMO we fish with the very best bank fisherman in the area. We have a great group of guys that work just as hard as anyone else to make this tournament something special. The kids out there are the future of this trail for generations to come.

Give it up to Chris Perez for winning this months tournament. The fishing was very productive despite the chocolate water. Everyone adjusted fairly well to the conditions at hand. My internet is still down. I will have the reults posted as soon as it gets up.

Man Charter for internet sucks. Been there done that. AT&T beats them hands down and they are much cheaper too.
