Also do we have a somewhat official headcount for this weekend? Im thinking if its gonna be a large tournout we may also need to re think the 1/4 mile boundary rules to allow more room for everyone to fish!

To make sure I show to the right place is this still the place to go:

"There is some construction at the corner of riverfront and university. It seems like the workers will take a while getting the job done(milking city of fw clock like the usual). Anywho, go south on University/ right on colonial/ right in riverfront" - Quote from bassgrabberstrail.com

Yeah that's it LTF! You cant miss it because the university street bridge goes right over the Trinity so if you make it there you are in the right area. They are just doing alot of construction in that area now so the parking is a lil jacked up.

Does this tournament allow the use of minnows or just lures? Me, I prefer lures. Just asking.

Live bait is allowed in streams and lakes but not when we fish ponds. However most people will be using artificial. Its all in the rules on the website. www.bassgrabberstrail.com

I kinda regret making the rule about rod and reel only. I had a crazy crankbait dream that involved 5 crank baits on an alabama rig pulled by a remote controlled boat. Stupid alarm woke me up so i never got to see the glory or disaster from it lol

Unless they stop releasing from Benbrook, the fishing is going to be brutal. With the current the way it is right now, its basically unfishable. Its been like that since Sunday morning.

Also, watch your footing out there guys. The rains and high water eroded quite a bit, and they haven't mowed that section in a while. There are quite a few holes/ledges on the bank that are covered up by grass right now.

If it rains between now and the tournament, the section below University, and just West of it gets REAL slick.

Good luck out there!
