That bracket is mounted upside down or on the wrong side. The offset should be pointed away from the transom, not toward it. Exactly, need to flip that puppy over dude..

Anyone have a photo, of how the bracket bolts up too a 10" Bob's Hyd Plate.. Do you have too drill holes..? I have a Power Pole and a Bob's hydraulic jack plate. I called Bob's first and they said "do not mount it to the side of the jack plate". So, I mounted mine with the adapter plate. Make sure to mount it between the boat and the jack plate and not between the jack plate and motor like I did.

That bracket is mounted upside down or on the wrong side. The offset should be pointed away from the transom, not toward it. The new brackets offset to the inside of the boat so that the spikes are outside of the outer edge of the boat when deployed. That plate looks like a rapid jack and if thats the case it isnt suppose to be mounted on the side like that. The only ones that I have seen that mount to the side will be for Slidemaster plates and Atlas plates.. I have not installed them on every make of boat but that one doesnt look to be the correct bracket.

When I talked to the guys at Powerpole they said either way was fine.

I have a Bob's Hyd. plate and have a Talon mounted on it. If the plate is still under warranty then don't drill it. Mine is out of warranty and I drilled 2 holes on the side. It does not affect the integrity of the plate. If you don't want to drill, there is two other ways to mount the bracket. One is between the plate and transom. If just mounting one pole you will need a spacer plate for the other side. This way is a pain in the buttocks. Second, there are adapter plates for mounting between the plate and motor to get bracket away from the plate slide. I would only recommend this way if mounting 2 poles. If only 1 pole then the spacer will also be needed for the other side. I am about to drill the port side of my Bob's to mount second Talon.

My e ladder is on the passenger side and it can not be mounted on the port side. This statement is not easily understood. Are you saying your e ladder is on the port side therefore there is no more available room to mount a power pole on the port side ? My E ladder mounts to my jackplate also. So I can not mount both the e-ladder and the Power pole to the same side of the jackplate.
