I had some Blue 580's I donated to the Laguna Madre and now have some Silver mirror. They are both awesome. I can't notice much of a difference between them with sight fishing. I've never worn the green.

You don't have to buy them from the store but I would go and try on some frames to see what fits you best and then search for them on ebay. The frames keeping light out of your perifrials when sight fishing is as important as lens color and quality IMO. Also saves on the headaches after a long day on the water.

I had a pair of the blue 580 lens a couple of years ago. I gave them to my dad because my head was too fat for them. Best sunglasses I've ever owned by far. Now that I'm getting back down to my fighting weight, I'm going to buy another pair.
I have a Largemouth at home....sometimes she lets me go fishing.

I tried on about six pairs at BPS, and bought the Hammerheads on ebay just for the peripheral light protection. They're big on my head, but with a hat on, zero light gets through at all and they don't dig into my ears and get uncomfortable after a full day wearing them.

Give the Maui jims a try. Much better than the costas. I've had revos, oakleys, wileys, costas, and now MJ. I'll never have anything else. I like the glass optical quality better than the poly. Look on the saltwater forums too. Mauis get a lot of love.

I have never owned a pair of costas, but can tell ou from reading reviews and posts on here and BBC the green 580's are what I see recommended the most often. Those are the ones we sell the most of. Great for fishing.

awesome glass. Contact Brady Winans as he will answer any possible question you may have about Costa Sunglasses. I really like both the Silver Mirror and green mirror. I also like the howlers and Mayas. I have multiple pairs.
