I luv knife chat I use one with a pink handle from Mary Kay! That's what Smitty uses at Twak CleanN Table! Go Rangers Go! I knew you would be on this like a Duck on a June bug.
It ain't easy making it look easy.

Get the black and decker from wal-mart. If you're cleaning a lot of fish, just the blades with some pam. It kinda keeps it lubricated. I've been using mine over 2 years now without any problems.

I don't know what is up with todays electric knives but there is a lot of junk out there. I have a b&d and a Hamilton beach. The hb cuts good and the b&d has a faster motor. If you get one that doesn't cut good take it back. It may take 2 or 3 before you get a good one. Save your receipts. Hb's and b&d's are cheap so when the blades get dull chunk em. I used to use American Angler. They were good knives. They are hard to find now. My fav now is a HB. But I went thru 2 to get this one but it cuts better than my b&d.

I use the cutco fishermens filet knife. Tradition knife. Blade extends from 6"-8" very sharp. And sharpens easy when needed. But I think ill be getting an electric for when I have lots of fish to clean.

I had a berkeley electric. It quit working the 3rd time I used it. Would not recommend.
