Will the store or restraunt be open this spring? Kind of nice to have another place to eat at, or make a pit stop on the west arm since 2 others closed this year.

another big factor is all the thefts around the lake. Hate to say that but I know our group stays away now and we use to take at least 15 of us down there in the Spring.

Thanks to all you TFF members, we had the best year in nearly 20 years here at the lodge. Maybe with better days (hopefully)ahead some of these businesses will be revived. I sure hope so.

Hadn't heard it closed... What a shame. I've stayed at Fisherman's Cove many times and for the most part had a pleasurable experience. One time the grumpy old guy who owned the place left us hanging on a late night reservation and never answered his cell.. That left us driving around town at 11pm trying to find a place to stay after a 2hr drive. (found an ok place off 69 to sleep for a few hours) Anyway, they made a GREAT Steak and Lobster and although the rooms were dark/dingy, had clean sheets, clean bathrooms, and Cold AC. On a different note, we stayed at the Minnow Bucket for the last Bass Splash... Yuk! That place needs some love. In the meantime I will keep praying for rain!

i'd rather be fishing.

You know you don't get to be as big as me by skipping meals food, but I have not been to Connie's. Most of my meals are at places on the water so I can get back out on the lake quickly.

Hello ya'll just happened to stumble upon this forum, but just to let yall know, FISHERMAN'S COVE MARINA will be reopening shortly. My fiance and i (Michael Brown and Niki Cox)are going to be managers; my inlaws are the new owners. Michael and Jan Brown. We are closing on the property March 12th, which is just a week from tomorrow so we can get rooms open in as little as a couple of weeks. You can reserve a room, Rv spot, or Dry boat storage now! We do have covered boat slips, however, only the outside 6 are currently deep enough to float a boat. Please dont hesitate to give me a call!! 469-260-1995 And ill be happy to get yall all set up!

I did not know they had closed. My wife and I went there on our honey-moon. Hope the new owners will fix it up so we can come back when the water comes up.

We will be doing lots of renovations on the place. I admit it is not in the best shape currently but we plan to put a lot of hard work into it!

Pope's Landing is rebuilding the boats slips right now. I was just there two days ago and they were working on them.

I have eaten at Connies on 69 in Alba many times. GOOD food, good prices, quick in and out except Sunday after Church.

The old owner was a bit of a grouch but as far as places I've stayed at on Fork, it's pretty decent. I will be planning more trips there because of the location and am glad to hear of the reopening. Of course I just recently heard they had closed when I was trying to get reservations there. This is a great opportunity for you to get reservations on the lake if you're planning to fish any big tournaments here this year because as you know, they all fill up well in advance! I hope the new owners do well and if you're lookin for a place to stay, give em a try.
