My wife buys me a couple bottles of peppermint snow dish soap on clearance at williams sonoma after christmas every year just for that purpose, but I think christmas is the only time it is available.

This isn't directly related to smelly hands, but I will say it will take care of that too.

If you are like me at the end the winter, your hands are destroyed from the mix of cold, wet, pulling anchors, mono or braid cutting into your hand....etc. I knew that at the end of last year I was going to have to do something.

I saw a picture of Tommy Blancett wearing surgial type gloves while on one of his guide trips. My first thought was "wussss." So, I called him up and had him explain it to me. It all made sense. They arn't surgical latex gloves. They are heavy duty Nitrile gloves that hardy break.

I tell ya what. I have worn them on almost every trip this year and I have yet to break a hole in them. I have pulled anchors, tied snells, unhooked hundreds of fish, drove my boat, txted.

Greatest part is they keep you warm, keep your hands dry and at the end of your trip, right before you unlock your truck to back your boat down you pull your gloves off and you hands feel like and smell like you just woke up! Good stuff for sure. No doubt it was the greatest trick I learned in 2012! Thanks Tommy!

These here are the best i've found w/ the thickest mil (I bought 4 boxes)

I use Fast Orange hand cleaner. Great for grease or gas removal and works on fish stink too... Use it before you get your hands wet, then rinse it off.

I keep a bar of Lava hand soap in a ziplock baggy, in my catfish tackle box for this very reason. Nothing like riding all the way home and getting whiffs of punch bait.

Dang guys, why don't y'all just use a little dish soap and splash of bleach? Kills anything and is cheap.

I wash mine twice. Once with toothpaste, then again with lemon juice.

Starting fluid. Ether will take any smell off of anything.
