We were in Birch creek and spent most of our time in the first cove north of the bridge (east side). Had good luck on worms Texas rigged shallow. I tried pitching a jig in 4 - 7 foot around stumps and didn't get a single bite (and I tried hard!!). Probably caught around 20 fish in a day and a half with 2 guys and we fished crappie during the middle of the day. It was already starting to get crowded so keep your eyes open and have fun!!
