It's not called fishing in my world! It's called catching. 7 year old Jaydon landed a limit of Sandbass this morning. This little guy can FISH! Smashing his dad by catching probably double what he did.

All of them 12 inches or over, throwing back all the 10-11 inchers. Everything was catching them.

Minnows, spinners, Rapala's, and the famous Jig & Bobber. Pretty much the whole time Jaydon and his Dad were doubling up on Magnum Sandbass. Great morning.

Jaydon's Limit.

Dad's Attempted Limit. Missed by three fish I think.

"Round 2" produced 2 more limits. Over 400 fish landed on my end today. 5 pm they shut down a bit and took about 2 minutes (instead of 30 seconds) or so to catch them. Great day today today.

The little one and his Dad came back out and I had them next to my PM trip guys. They wore them out again.

Keep it up Carey! Don't let the bunny-huggers give you any grief. Sandbass are like flies. Limits are in place for a reason. Can't wait to hear the crying over the crappie spawn, either. rolleyes Every year it's the same argument, just different people. Keep tearing them up and keep your nose high in the air where it belongs! cheers

Steady bite today. Slowed down though to a slow trickle. If I charged for hooks being lost, Steve would have made me rich! Lol j/k Steve.

Going on round two in an hour.

Hit the water at 3 pm. People walking out said it was SLOW!! And they were right. It was very slow. Not many people catching anything. -Except my clients.

Jordan was slayin them. She had never used a spinning rod before. Within 15 minutes, she was casting and setting the hook and reeling in fish after fish after fish. Everyone thought the fish were where I was again. The only reason I fish the Hell Hole, is its easy to learn there. It really doesnt matter where you go. The freakin fish are everywhere. Go find a deep pocket. -

Dad was tearing them up as well.

Off the water with an easy limit and left them biting at 530 pm.

-Off to guide trout tomorrow in Broken Bow.
