Palomar suck, much bettter knots out there. palomar sucks cause you don't wet it good enough or have bad line big bass mcclendon always keeps it very wet. And I use segar Invisx. Thats the problem. Palomar does suck on fluoro. It is a wonderful knot for braid and mono. I use double san diego jam for fluoro, palomar for braid and mono unless it is on a t-rig and on t-rigs I use a snell knot.

Palomar suck, much bettter knots out there. If you don't know how to tie it correctly, then yes it does suck because it WILL break. It is a very strong knot if you tie it right and it works well with ALL lines, if tied correctly, that is the important part..

1+ yes, the palomar was not the best for fluoro. You guys should download the app for your phone if you have not done it, very neat.

Improved clinch on everything except spinnerbaits. For spinnerbaits I use a World's Fair knot: World's Fair knot I have always found this knot to work especially well on spinnerbaits and also allows me to change quickly. I've never lost a fish on either regardless of line type.
