Which one is better? I'm leaning toward the revo s. thoughts?
If you know of an old Dagger Bayou 2 tandem kayak I am interested.

Citica. Got five citicas and i give em a heck of a work out. Got one revo sx that is newer than the citicas and about to fall apart on me. My honest opinion abu stuff not made as solid as it used to be.

Citica. Have had a couple in the past and never had an issue. Had 2 revo s and a knob fell off the handle and the other started to grind about a month of use. Plus shimano has an unbeatable customer service.

I've got 4 Revo Sx's and 1 Stx. I have had problems with them all. Have to oil them after every use. They don't seem to work very well with heavy flouro either. I know a lot of people love them and they are very popular...I just haven't found them to be that great for me.

Citica E all the way. I used to work for a reel repair company and still do repairs and cleanings from time to time and I have seen more problems with the revos than any other reel on the market. They are extremely hard to tune and When u do fix them with new bearings or gears or whatever they never seem to be the same as they were when u first bought them. They just aren't as good as the citica
Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

Thanks everyone who have responded. I am happy to know that the HQ for both for repairs and knowledge are in Dallas.

Revo, there are a lot of Shimano fans who won't look at anything else. I have owned both Curado's and every Revo known to man short of the MGX. The Revo out performs them in every way. Smoother drag, retrieve, and longer casts.
I like Shimano products too, never had an issue with them at all but they just don't keep up and they keep downgrading quality while upgrading price. I'd love to have a few of their white Curado's but I'm not paying Chronarch prices for it. That paint job isn't worth 40 bucks.
