I cleaned up yesterday in the rain. It was on again off again showers all afternoon. I think it helped the bite. Now if was lightning that's a different story.

I just dont understand how you say 60% chance of rain when it is raining. Isn't that a 100% chance.
If I was wrong at my job as the weather man/women I would be fired and fishing more.
The 60% chance is for any given area though. Like someone mentioned it was raining in Fort Worth yesterday, I live 35 miles north of FW, no rain here (until 10 mins ago, now it is pouring). Usually they have 5 or 6 computer models they look at that predict the weather. They go with what they feel is the best one or at least what a majority of the models are telling them. The NWS has more models than the local guys. But the local guys have the NWS. It isn't an exact science. Hard to predict that in which you have no control over.
