I got to join a couple friends at Richland Chambers on Sunday. Saturday was an outstanding day down there, but the Cold Front shut them down for us on Sunday. We ended the day with 19 nice fish, but we sort of had our hearts set on a much higher number. The spring Crappie spawn is always a hit and miss deal, it was a Great Trip non the less.

Bright and early this morning HogOn and myself set out for Lake Fork. What a Great Day. We put 34 nice fish in the boat. Most came off the 515 and 154 bridges. Later in the afternoon, the wind came up a bit and we decided to try some shallow water stumps to get out of the wind. We fished stumps from 4 to 12 feet of water. It was very slow, but when you got a hit, you could bet the fish would be close to 2 pounds. If this post had audio, you would hear a loud scraping noise. That would be my rear end dragging. I will try to post some pictures tomorrow. Going to Bed with some Great Memories.

P.S. My rear end is still dragging!!!

Sounds like a great couple of days on the water. I could think of a thousand things that would worst than fishing RC and Fork for slabs.

The pictures don't do the fish justice.
