I would plan on Falcon. As fast as Amistad is dropping it may not be there this summer.

Well both are covered up with cartel and otherwise inhumane Mexican heathens. Add to that you will prob get checked by coast guard every 5 min, rapidly dropping water levels, dam gates that won't close, too many guides from fork, bad food, you are prob best just staying home.
On top of that you'd have to decide, fluoro or braid, and who wants to have to do that??!!!!??

I would look at June for the kids it's hot but not August hot just my 2 cents. Falcon is awesome and any kid would love it. Amistad is also a great lake could not go wrong with either one.
