You might want to give the St. Croix Rage rods a look see, or their Mojo Bass line.

TFO tactical series. GTS S735-1 7'3 for spinning. GTS C735-1 7'3 for casting. You will like this rod for the money. Great warranty also.

Duckett Micro Guide, 7' MH, I use it for my worm rod and it is perfect!

Get with Carlos Rivera here on TFF and you will have a little extra to buy some more plastics!

This is a very subjective question, you wil find many different opinions as you have seen here.

Person feel is always going to be different.

Myself personally i really like the bucoo's and the duckets for the money. you need to go pick up some rods and se how they feel in your hands.

see how the reel seat and grip feel, this is very important on how comfortable it will be for you in a full days fishing, i really also like the veritas series rods also in that price range, those are right at a hundred..

I've been very very happy with my Lamiglas Excel rods. Their 7'11 is wicked for swimbaits, a-rigs, carolina rigs, frogs, etc. However, I've also been very happy with their spinning rods and additional other baitcasting rods/

Will have to look into all these. I use an Abu Garcia Blue Max. Really like that rod. But want something a little lighter but stronger.

7' MH Vendetta put every one of the fish in my signature in the boat. I think I've got most of the major species covered. I do have a Falcon Bucoo as well but as someone else said they are rated light so I rarely ever use mine. If you go the Bucoo route I suggest Heavy Action and even then I think they are softer than the MH Vendetta!!
