OP trippbo Outdoorsman T Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 237 richardson, tx	Here she is- First fish of the morning- caught her on a 6th Sense custom painted square-bill with a bluegill color scheme. I never turned the handle once- the second the lure hit the water right against some cattails she smashed it! She put up an amazing fight and was pulling drag. I knew from the huge splash that she made when she inhaled the bait, and the powerful run, that this was a really good fish. But when she came out of the water shaking that huge head, I knew she was the one I've been looking for all these years. Caught her in a private lake near Henderson that is part of the Private Water Fishing Club. Water temp was 62 degrees. This first one only took me 23 years so I better get going on the next one! Hopefully it won't take so long...

We threw frogs and got a couple of swirls but no takers. Bluebird skies killed it yesterday. This was the only big fish we caught all day.
