I have a 16ft fiberglass boat, do you think I will be ok if I put in at Marshall Creek? Is it better fishing the further down stream?

So how is the parking at the trophy club ramp. I scouted the ramp the other day. Probably 12 or 15 trailers filled it up. You could probably park up the hill just off the pavement. There is no courtesy dock, so it's nice if you have a helper or an anchor to throw up on bank.

Went out on the 29th, launched at Trophy Club park at 10 am and came back in at 4 pm. Had a cooler full of 48 Sandies and 2 Crappie between the 2 of us in the boat. Ran up as far os we could go and just started floating back using the trolling motor to hold in areas when we started catching fish. Road Runners in White, Chartuese and Yellow. Rattle traps in fire tiger and chrome/blue back.

My boat ain't purdy and may be old, but she still floats!

Went out today and parked at the Paintball park again and walked to the hole...... From my experience today the hole didnt live up to the reputation it's been getting.... There was about 8 people in that 1 hole and no one caught a fish for the hour I was there, we used road runners and rooster tails and nothing there..... We walked a little up stream to a smaller hole where no one was there and that hole produced about 10 crappie and 4 sandies in about 15 min..... I'm not saying the hole is a bad spot just too over fished this early in the season.... I feel it's still a little too soon and their not in full spawn yet

Hey all. New member, long time reader here. Was able to drop the kayak in Denton Creek yesterday afternoon. Put in at boat ramp, headed upstream. Started picking up bites around the first major bend. Landed a couple fat sandies just trolling a shad-looking jig. Kept paddling up until I ran across some more and found a school. They were popping the shad up on top so I chased around for a while. In all I landed 5 chunky sand bass and had a great time for the 2+ hours I was on the creek. I'm heading out again today...maybe bring home a stringer full for dinner! Take care!

ramp was an absolute zoo today, had to fight for a spot just to get the boat back out of the water, must have been 35 to 40 trucks/trailers. broke something on the outboard, had to get a tow back in (thanks if that was you and you are reading this) and thanks to the guy who helped me load my boat. Good people out there.

Thanks Form 377 and 114, go North on 377, turn East, right, on Marshall Creek Rd. go down to the end of MCR, the road ends, turn Right on Bobcat Way, Wind around Byron Nelson HS (on left) to Trophy Club Rd. Turn left, go about 3/4 mile or so, start looking for Trophy Club Park Rd on the left, it'll be just past a bunch of new houses, Left on TCP rd, wind down and around, pass a new dog park on the left, an the park entrance is at the end of the road. The machine takes cards and cash, Turn left at the guard shack,go about a half mile, the road "Y's", turn left at the y, up and over a hill, and turn left. I think that about covers it.

Was that you today in the green Native? If so it was good meeting you. My wife and I were loading our yaks when you came off the water. Hope to see you again sometime soon and hopefully a day when the bite is better.
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever. I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing
