Fortunately BASS listened to it's anglers. Great waters, great timing...What more could an angler hope for. Come on, Texas Lady Anglers get on board....2007 is bound to be a great tournament year, and nearly in each of your backyards. At least for two of the five scheduled tourneys! (Amistad and Red River) This is not a public service announcement or BASS sponsored post, I just happened to have fished WBT last year and am happy to see the improved schedule and hope many other ladies will jump in there and give tournament fishing a shot.

The first year of the WBT was a learning experience for me! I am so excited about the upcoming year and the changes that have been made. What an exciting time. If there are any of you ladies out there even remotely interested in participating, then jump right in with the rest of us! It is a great opportunity to learn and be a part of something that has great potential. My plans this past year were to fish on the Pro side and the accident in March changed everything. I was able to pick up the season at Lake Norman and fish the remaining events. WOW is the first thing that comes to mind. I don't know how well I would have done on the Pro side, but I know as a Co-Anlger, I had wonderful opportunities to grow and have fun meeting other ladies from not only across our great country, but from Canada and South Africa as well. The stories behind the various ladies I was priviledged enough to fish with are awe inspiring. Not just because of their fishing abilities, but also because of individuals themselves. Their abilities to juggle family, work and fishing is amazing. I will fish again this next year on the Co-Anlger side. I encourage each of you to join in on the experience. I have no doubts that you will really enjoy it!
