It was a drum... But still it was a DD. Hit a jig. I thought for sure I had a 15lb bass... Just a big ugly drum.
We did catch alot of fish. Just none over 3lbs or so.... I will post up some details and few pics of the madien voyage later today...stay tuned! I can attest to Dans DD. I was a witness. Y'all should have seen his face when he thought he had a share lunker on the line and it surfaced to be a drum. His face and emotional yelling was PRICELESS!!?!?!! He was pretty mad. It was a fun day on a good boat. Your welcome Dan since I have you the lead to go buy it.

By the way "fish fear me" -- Dan is always saying how he out fishes you cause you use all his old school gear and he is constantly having to show you new techniques And tricks to get on some fish.
Those are all words i always hear out of our good ole buddy Dan, Is that true?

I did pick up a Hunter from Mister Sir. Have had it out twice already...
Will post a report with some pics soon. I broke the boat in with a DD... Did not want to mention it till I can post the pics. Good luck with your new Bass Hunter Dan . Hope it gets you setup on many fishes...

Carlos, I would have paid good money for a picture of his face when he saw that DD drum.
As far a fishing goes he has "taught me" how to catch the biggest fish in his honey hole lake.
For that ... I thank him.

Well Jumper if those 2012 season totals are correct , aint no wonder I can't catch any fish...

Yes Dave your not to far off on that LOL I catch a bass its a bass its in my hands its a caught bass. The best bass for me so far this year would be about 2 lbs. And I have a pond that has a lot of small bass in it.
