My 3 yr old son woke up yesterday and said he wanted to go catch a big fish like a big boy We've been potty training him and I told him once he gets in full swing and starts using the potty regular he can do big boy things like go fishing, go to the train park, go to the ice cream shop ect... Well it was his time and he knew it! He was super excited and so was I Now I've taken my nephews and niece fishing close to 30 times so I kinda knew what to expect from a 3 yr old on his first trip I figured 10-15 mins of fishing and 2 hrs playing at the park and feeding ducks. Well my boy had a diff plan! I couldn't have asked for a better first trip This little guy fished for 3 hrs solid never fussing or getting in trouble, no hooked fingers and I casted and he reeled the whole time till I was starting to get bored! Like a true fisherman he waited patiently, foregoing the park, and ice cream Right before sun down he got what he was waiting for. Here's the photos in order.....

I help him a lil and he takes the rod and walks backward and lands it! Him studying his catch after high fiving it up top the head



I'm very proud of my lil boy! Couldn't have asked for a better kid! Thank you lord for this blessing! Your daddy loves ya little buddy!

That is absolutely great! Id be happy to catch that fish now couldn't imagine what I would be thinking if I was 3years old.
