Yes Yes thats what I do to works

Used the anchor today and it was great, like the idea of loops in the rope

I start up wind and fish eveything I can reach then pull up the anchor and drift down wind, drop anchor and pound it again.

It gets kinda tricky when you are fishing deep water. You pretty much need both anchors to keep you still enough to fish.

Heck yes the LBJ Grasslands are awesome! Thats my home "lakes" lol. I have the exact same Bass hunter boat. I like your depth finder setup. I used those metal brackets and wrapped it through the slits on the back of the depth finder and attached it to the right side of the two metal legs on the seat. Works great! Equipped with a 30 lb thrust trolling motor and our boats will really scoot across the water! LOL

Count me in! Started fishin there as soon as i started driving. Bought my boat at 18 and use it out there all the time! Clear lake has some great spots that cant be reached by shore like that back stump field. Took my dad out in it and he likes usin it more than his 17' progator bass boat. I believe you dont gotta have a big rig to catch the big bass. My biggest was from Rhodes Lake out there and i caught it in the creek along the backside in my bass hunter. Drug me a good thirty yards. Another reason why I love it!
