It's a Xanthic Largemouth Bass. It's like being albino, but instead of white, it's got a yellow tint. Melanism is black, albino is white, xanthic is yellow.

It is a xanthic black bass. It isn't crossed with any other species. It is a recessive trait being expressed.

I caught a rainbow trout that was yellow like that at the tpwd kid fish. Didn't get a pic cause it was raining pretty hard. I turned him loose cause he was too awesome looking to eat.
